Schwiering MariaSCHWIERING, Maria Erslia (nee Vaccarella) - (April 20th, 1961 - February 15th, 2021)

It is with deepest sorrow that my dear wife of 34 years passed away peacefully in my arms at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre on the morning of February 15th, 2021.

Maria, the love of my life, was set free from this life to join those that go before her early this morning after a terrible struggle with cancer.

Loving mother of Andrew (husband to Stephanie Harrison) and Peter Schwiering.

She will forever live on in my heart and the hearts of our beautiful boys Peter and Andrew.

Maria was the life and soul of our little family and will never be replaced.

She was a truly fun loving, warm hearted angel with a million dollar smile that will be greatly missed by all lives she touched. Many will remember her selfless passion helping people at tax time. She will be missed by all.

Maria was born in Montreal to Vanda (Capobianco) and Arturo Vaccarella, who emigrated from Italy and then moved to Oshawa along with her brothers, Tony and Fred Vaccarella.

As per our wishes cremation will take place, with outdoor funeral arrangements to be planned when weather permits later this summer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society.

Many heartfelt thanks to the amazing team at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre for the challenging efforts to help Maria overcome her battle and make her comfortable.

Arrangements entrusted to the  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME .
