LYNDE, Marie (nee Morrish) - Peacefully, with her daughters and granddaughter by her side, on Monday, June 6, 2022, at Bowmanville Hospital, in her 97th year.
Loving wife of the late Donald G. Lynde, 1st Fire Chief of Pickering.
Dear daughter of the late Sydney and Luella Morrish.
Devoted mother of Cheryl and her husband Michael Gabrielle, Nancy and her husband Bob Cubbage, Lyle and his wife Cathy. Dear Grandma of Mandy (Steve Johnson), Ryan, Ashley, and Katlyn (Josh Drysdale).
Great grandmother of Cayden and Paxton. Loved sister of the late Lyle Morrish and lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Marie was a life member of the UCW of Dunbarton Fairport United Church and had just received her 60 year pin.
Marie was a founding member of both the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs women’s Auxillary and the Retired Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs Womens Auxillary.
Arrangements wtih McEacnie Funeral Home, Ajax. A Funeral Service will be held at Dunbarton Fairport United Church (1066 Dunbarton Rd., Pickering) on Thursday June 16, 2022 at 11 a.m.
