McGUIRE, Marilyn Gail (nee HUNNISETT) - Marilyn passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, December 7, 2023, in her 74th year.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Erin (Jason) and Geoffrey (Allison); grandchildren, Cameron, Patrick and Ewan; siblings, Barbara, Paul and Carol (Jim); and friend and past husband, Lawrence.
A lifelong member of the United Church of Canada, she had an enduring love for sacred music and sang in church choirs for much of her life.
In recent years, she took pleasure in rekindling her passion for playing the piano. Though she struggled at times with depression, she retained her sweetness and good humour.
She loved receiving visits from family, and her children and grandchildren will always remember the warmth with which she embraced them all.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Weston, on Friday, December 22nd, in the Chapel at 3 p.m.
