Angela Petruccelli Marino

2025

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Angela Maria Petruccelli on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in her 77th year.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Giovanni, with whom she shared 57 years of love, laughter, and unwavering companionship.

Angela was a dedicated mother to Angelo (Tara), Marino (Christina), and Teresa (Robert Di Ianni) and a cherished Nonna to
Christian, Isabella, Angelica, and Luca, as well as a loving step-Nonna to Tori and Monica.
Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she showered them with endless love, wisdom, and the warmth of her kitchen.

Predeceased by her beloved parents, Giovanni and Rosa (Minotti) Marino, and her in-laws, Angelo and Teresa Petruccelli,
she was a treasured sister and sister-in-law to Vincenzo (Elena) Marino, Amalia (Vincenzo) Macchiagodena,
Tony (Annette), the late Domenic, Emily (Louie) Buordolone, and Pat (Dana).
Angela will also be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends,
especially her cousin Maria Alfieri, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.

In 1968, Angela courageously left her hometown in Italy to build a new life in Canada with Giovanni.
She was the foundation of her family—strong, selfless, and endlessly giving.
An incredible cook, her home was always filled with the comforting aromas of homemade meals shared with joy.
A talented seamstress, she poured patience and skill into every stitch, creating beautiful garments and lasting memories.

Above all, Angela’s greatest passion was her family. She loved deeply, gave wholeheartedly, and left an indelible mark
on the hearts of all who knew her. Her kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at St. Peter’s for their compassionate care and support
during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St. E.) on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 2-4 PM and 5-8 PM.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua (165 Prospect St. N.) on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 10 AM,
with entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing that her love will live on in the lives she touched.
Angela, you will forever be in our hearts.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Friscolanti Funeral Chapel in Hamilton Region.

Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel.
