Matija (Mike) Markoja

1949 - 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matija (Mike) Markoja on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

A wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend. He leaves behind his loving wife Ancka, son Roman, daughter Rosemarie, brother Josko, and sister Marijia.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, Ontario.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Section 18, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill.
