Adelard “Addy” E. St. Martin

In loving memory of Adelard “Addy” St. Martin, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the age of 82, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury.

Addy is survived by his two sons, Francis (Emily) and James (Lori), as well as his cherished grandsons, Curtis and Max, and his great-grandson Eli. Predeceased by his parents, Arsidas and Lebea St. Martin (née Leroux), he was a beloved brother to Armand “Joe” (Denise), Edgar (Jacqueline), Aime “Al” (Doreen), Donald, Claudette (Bill Rivers), Ronald, and Denise, all predeceased. He will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and his close friend Art Chevrier (Laurette predeceased) and family.

Addy dedicated 36 years to Canada Post, including 34 years as a postman in Gatchell, where he built lasting relationships with the community he served. His kindness and work ethic left a lasting legacy.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation at Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow, with interment at the Civic Cemetery.
