Martin (Jeff) Murphy

February 26, 1959 – April 13, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeff Murphy (Murph) who was born and raised in Bancroft Ontario. Jeff was a 40 year employee of Gerdau (Lasco).  He will be dearly missed by his spouse Joanne Duncan and Stepson Andrew Valks (Erika), his Brother Bill Murphy (Lori), his Sister Lori O'Brien (Stewart) and his Niece Mikala O'Brien he was always so proud of. He will also be deeply missed by Effie Duncan who was not only a dear friend but someone Jeff called "Mom". Jeff was predeceased by his Father Bill and Mother Shirley.

He will always be remembered for his love of fishing, hockey, darts and strumming on his guitar on the deck at the trailer or around the campfire with friends. He loved any occasion that brought family and friends together for fun and laughter.  Jeff's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
