DOWNS, Mary Louise (nee FERGUSON) - It is with profound sadness to share the news of Mary's sudden passing at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, January 11, 2024, in her 79th year.
Mary will be deeply missed by her loving partner, Carolyn Payne; son, Tim (Alli); grandson, Ori Greg Downs; brothers, Dave (Pat) and Bob (Yvonne); stepchildren, Brad (Pam Yakabuskie) and Jen Martichenko (Nick); nieces, Carolyn Perry, Jennifer Schwartz (Michael), Miri (Dan), Kyla, and Victoria; nephew, Alexander; step-grandchildren, Claire, Charlotte and Catherine; great-niece and nephews, Logan, Ian, Bradley, Jacob, Penny, Ben, and Miles; and special cousins.
She will be greatly missed by so many dear friends.
Mary was so much to so many people.
A celebration of life will be held at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Thursday, January 18th, from 2-4 p.m., where family and friends can gather.
In memory of Mary and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Kawartha Food Share or the YES Shelter would be greatly appreciated by the family.
