MacDonald MaryMACDONALD, Mary (Grant)   - June 8, 1933 – December 28, 2020

Mary was born in Ipswich, UK, to Herbert Henry Grant and Lilian Booty, younger sister to her late brothers John and Peter.

She married Archibald (Archie) MacDonald in England in 1954 and moved to his home town of Montreal, Canada, where they raised three children, Michael, Barbara, and Robert, and after their divorce Mary raised her youngest son the late Joseph Leach.

Mary had a long career in inventory control for Lange Ski Boots and, on moving to Toronto, for Giftcraft Ltd.

She spent many happy years with her spouse the late Erik Wollesen in Toronto and the GTA.

Mary was known for her sense of humour and sparkling smile; as one of her nurses in LTC said, "she's a sweetheart".

Mary will be fondly remembered and missed by her former husband Archie, her children Michael (and Nadira), Barbara, Robert (and Llita), her grandchildren Justin, Alicia, Stacy (and Mike), Kevin, Patrick, Marie, and Michael's step-daughters Ahisha (and Pheleeto), Jhordine, Deleni, and by Mary's great-grandchildren Stacy's son Riley and Michael's older grandchildren Gabryela and Lynaea, among other relatives and friends.

A memorial service and interment will occur once the pandemic lockdown is lifted.

In memoriam gifts to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto would be appreciated.
