RICCIO, Mary Loretta - (1924 - 2021) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary, at home, on Sunday, February 7, 2021, in her 97th year.
A remarkable love story of devotion as wife to Perry, as they lived together for a wonderful 69 years.
Loved and respected by their children: Laura Bourque (Peter), Robert Riccio (Diane), Peter Riccio (Jennifer).
Cherished by their grandchildren: Michael (Rasna). Louise (Mathew), Elizabeth (Jake), Joseph, Teresa, Stephen, Paul, Monica, John, and Nicholas. Adored by her great grandchild Xavier.
Mary was born and raised in Toronto where she and Perry raised their family of three children. Mary was a hardworking and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and a beacon of maternal love. Mary, an avid fan of music with Perry and an athletic golfer, enjoyed homemaking, cooking and travel, especially cruises in later years.
Our family has been blessed to have a lifetime of her loving generosity of spirit and care. Our memories of Mary will be in our hearts forever.
We thank the staff at Amica Retirement Home for their care care for Mary especially in the Assisted Living Suite.
