SOROCHAN, Mary - It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Mary Sorochan on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at the McCall Centre, at the age of 93.
Although heartbroken, the family are also so very grateful to have such a remarkable woman in their lives.
A loving wife to the late Walter.
A devoted mother to Carol Hill (Bryan) and Dan (Norma).
Dear grandmother to Douglas, Karen, Janice and Kristen, and a proud great-grandmother to Jack, Anna, James, Clare, Leigha, Andrew, Sarah and Matthew. Mary lived a full and rich life, centred around family, friends, a sales career and her many social activities and hobbies.
She taught us the important factors in life - the joy of living, courage, perseverance, independence, tolerance, loyalty and honesty.
You will always be part of us. A family ceremony will be held to commemorate Mary's life.
The family would also like to acknowledge the staff at McCall Centre for their remarkable care, kindness and support, you are the benchmark for continuing care, we thank you.
