Teresa (Raposo) Matias passed away at the Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the age of 97. Teresa was predeceased by her beloved husband, Silvino, and was the treasured mother of Eduard (and his wife Chris), Maria (and her husband Bob Bawcutt), and Walter (and his wife Tessie). She was a much-loved grandmother to Daniel (Lori), Paul (Jaime), Lisa (Kory), Michael, Vanessa (Ken), and David, as well as a proud great-grandmother of eight.
Visitation Details:
Friends and family will be received at the Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Ave., Ajax, on Sunday, October 6th, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Service:
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 21 Bayly St. E., Ajax, on Monday, October 7th at 11 a.m.
