Gail passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the age of 77. She was a devoted wife to Kenneth May of Goodwood for 36 years. Predeceased by her daughter Ivonna Matanovic (Victor) and her stepson Daryl May (Tammy). Cherished stepmother to Brad (Brigette) and Anne (Norm). Survived by her brother Jim (Julie) and her sister Cindy (Peter). Sister-in-law to Ron, Marg, Dianne (John), and Len.

Gail was an avid golfer and a founding member of Coppinwood Golf Course, achieving two hole-in-ones during her career. She loved golfing trips with Ken across Ontario, Quebec, Florida, Arizona, and Prince Edward Island, where she spent many childhood summers. A fantastic cook, baker, and hostess, Gail was also skilled in bowling and curling. She enjoyed music, singing, dancing, yoga, fly fishing, card games, and trips to casinos with friends. To Ken and family: We were sorry to hear of the passing of Gail. Our thoughts are with your family at this difficult time. We have many great memories of our hockey and baseball games, Ken, from many years ago. Remember and cherish the happy memories that you shared with Gail. From the Mt. Zion Jones Boys.

I’ve known Gail for roughly six years as her cleaning lady. Gail will be missed dearly; she was a wonderful person. We always had great conversations. RIP, Gail. Love, Flory.
