Marjorie “Marge” Elaine McAlpine

Suddenly, at home on November 27, 2024, Marjorie “Marge” McAlpine passed away in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Don McAlpine for 66 wonderful years, Marge was a devoted mother to Kimberlee (Jamie) Fleming, Jill (Fred) Patrick, and Scott (Lyndlay) McAlpine. She was a cherished Nana to Jessica, Erin (Will) Fleming, Ashton, Andrew Patrick, and Garrett and Allyson McAlpine.

Marge is survived by her sisters-in-law Betty Armstrong and Marilyn Stone and was predeceased by her brothers Douglas and Harold Armstrong. A proud supporter of her grandchildren’s activities, Marge’s family was always her top priority. She worked as an oncology nurse at Victoria Hospital, London, for 29 years and was a member of Oakridge Presbyterian Church for 62 years.

Visitation will take place at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the funeral service at Oakridge Presbyterian Church, 970 Oxford Street West, London, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. A private inurnment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London.
