Robert Gordon McEldon

February 25, 1949 - January 14, 2025

With great sadness and much love, we announce the passing of Robert Gordon McEldon on January 14, 2025, with his beloved wife and devoted family by his side.

Rob will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life, his wife Sandra, and their children, Tricia, James (Tracy), and Christine (Adam). He was a cherished Bumpa/Pompa to Jacob, Brianna, Charlie, Alicia, Olivia, and Keegan.

Predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Yvonne McEldon, Rob will be missed by his siblings Pam (Neil), Darlene (John), and Wayne (Dar). He will also be fondly remembered by his much-loved nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.

Rob took an early retirement from Toronto Hydro after 30 years of dedicated service. While he loved his job and co-workers, he cherished his retirement even more. He was an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoyed any activity that allowed him to embrace it.

A celebration of Rob’s life will be held on Saturday, February 8th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Shrine Club, 1626 Simcoe St N., Oshawa, ON.
