Neill Robert McEntyre

1966 - January 13, 2025

Peacefully, surrounded by his family, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Neill Robert McEntyre passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry. He was 58 years old.

Beloved husband of the late Lori (née Collins) of Oshawa, Neill was the loving father of Jaeme and her husband Shane Pascoal of Etobicoke, and Rob McEntyre and his wife Shianne of Bowmanville. He was the cherished Poppa of Ruby. Neill will be missed by his loving companion Nicole ("Nikki") Porter of New Brunswick, his four-legged companions Kaya, Fritz, and Sadie, as well as his extended family and many friends.

Neill’s courage and humor throughout his battle with cancer inspired everyone who knew him. As he once said, “I am pretty sure I’m not a doctor, but I’m pretty sure if you die the cancer dies at the same time. That’s not a loss, it’s a draw.”
