Isaac Roderick McEvoy

October 23, 2002 - October 23, 2024

Tragically, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the age of 22 years. Beloved son of Stephanie Haines-McEvoy and William McEvoy. Survived by his partner, Courtney Burgess, and their 5-month-old son, Elias McEvoy-Burgess. Cherished brother of Jessica McEvoy (19) and Jacob McEvoy (15). Dearly loved grandson of Lewis and Mary McEvoy and Wayne and Rhoda Haines. Isaac will be fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles: Ann Stearns, Rhonda Haines, Sinclair McEvoy, David McEvoy, Denis McEvoy, and Edward McEvoy.

A celebration of Isaac’s life will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 2 pm at the West Ottawa Community Church, Celebration Centre, 3123 Carp Road, Carp, ON K0A 1L0. In lieu of flowers, donations to Focus on the Family Canada would be appreciated by the family at donation.focusonthefamily.ca.

Isaac was kind and caring, outgoing, and a true joy to be around. His laughter was always the loudest in the house or among friends. Known for his dedication to protecting those around him, Isaac was preparing for a career in police services. He was baptized in the Rideau River and cherished the Bible camps he attended, making friends wherever he went. Isaac is deeply missed, but we take comfort knowing he is resting with the Lord, awaiting the final resurrection.
