Dorothy Anne McLean

February 17, 1941 - December 26, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Anne McLean, who departed this life peacefully at the age of 83. Dorothy is now reunited in heaven with her beloved grandmother, Adina Neptune, whom she cherished deeply. Dorothy’s presence will be sorely missed by her devoted sisters, Agnes and Linda, and her children: Keith (and his wife Hazel), Agnes, Jennie, Mary (and her husband Andrew), Veronique, and Jill.

She leaves behind a loving legacy carried on by her many grandchildren: Crystal, Ron, Ryan, Randy, Nicky, Keldon, Chris (and his wife Nicole), Christopher (and his wife Ewelina), Arlene, Adam, Ariel, Chelsea, Anika (and her husband Phil), Sheena (and her husband Zafar), Stephen (and his wife Paula), T.J, Jae, Delon, Jamieka (and her husband Joey), Victoria, Angelica, Sasha, and Justin, along with her 23 treasured great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Dorothy was a woman of remarkable warmth and dedication, known for her passion for knitting. She lovingly created beautiful keepsakes for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each piece a testament to her care and creativity. She also found comfort in simple joys, such as watching her favourite show, Little House on the Prairie, a tradition that brought her peace and delight.

As the matriarch of her family, Dorothy embodied the values of love, hard work, and resilience. She was a source of guidance and unwavering support, always putting her family’s needs above her own. Her kindness, strength, and unconditional love were constants in the lives of those she touched.

Dorothy’s life was a testament to the power of love and perseverance, and her memory will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, a doting grandmother, and a pillar of her family. Rest in eternal peace, Dorothy. You will be forever in our hearts.
