Barbara Ellen McNamee
October 16, 1946 ~ July 15, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ellen McNamee of Brockville, Ontario. Born in Prescott, Ontario, Barbara departed this life on July 15, 2024, at the age of 77. She will be deeply missed by her family and all those who knew her.

Predeceased by her parents Harry and Hilda Greer and sisters Margaret Bernier, Joan Greer, and Debra Greer, Barbara leaves behind her beloved husband of 52 years, John McNamee. She was a loving sister to Shirley Greer and Patricia Brennan, a devoted mother to Laura Julien (Chris) and Aimee McNamee, and a proud grandmother to Philip (Kit), Thomas (Holly), and Ruby.

Visitation Details
Date: Sunday, July 21st, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville

A family interment will follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to Palliative Care at Brockville General Hospital or The Canadian Cancer Society.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to those who supported and cared for Barbara during this challenging time.
