John H. Meek

September 2, 1950 - March 12, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Meek. After a long battle with cancer, he is finally at peace.

John was predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Freda, and his only brother, Murray. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Karen. Cherished father of Don (Sharon) Meek, Bonnie Truckle, Brad (Nichola) Meek, and Megan Meek.

A devoted grandfather, he will be deeply missed by Chelsea (Tyler) Wilson, Geoff (Brianna) Meek, Mitchell (Taylor) Truckle, Mariah Truckle (Sebastian), Madison Truckle, and Callum Welsh-Meek. John was also a proud great-grandfather to Walker and Oaklynn Wilson and Amelia Meek.

He will be dearly missed by his sisters-in-law Mary Ann Meek, Joanne (Kevin) Banfield, Deborah (Jerry) Wilson, Heather Apolcer, and Brenda (Armand) Bourgoin, as well as his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Interment will take place in the spring at Sandford Cemetery.
