George Mihalo

November 26, 1935 - February 12, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of George Mihalo, at the age of 89 years.

Loving husband of Mary (nee Ondricko) for 64 years. Devoted father of Michael (Vincenza) and John (Claudia). Cherished grandfather to Brandon, Nicholas, Matthew, and Adam.

George immigrated to Canada from Koromla, Slovakia in 1953. He worked at Dominion Stores for 31 years before becoming the owner of The Bulk Food Warehouse.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel South, 3048 Dougall Ave., on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Parish prayers will take place at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
