Frank John Millman
April 1, 1944 – November 14, 2024
Frank John Millman, born April 1, 1944, in Uxbridge, Ontario, passed away at Ajax-Pickering Hospital on November 14, 2024, after suffering a cardiac arrest on November 12 at his home in Ajax.
Growing up on a farm in Epsom, Frank was the eldest of six brothers. His upbringing instilled in him a strong work ethic and versatility, enabling him to excel in various roles, including as a maintenance supervisor in a latex glove factory, a builder and installer of floating docks, and a race car engine specialist. A perfectionist at heart, he approached every task with dedication and excellence.
In his youth, Frank enjoyed hunting, camping, and snowmobiling. Later in life, he traveled to Venezuela, Grenada, Jamaica, and Mexico, creating cherished memories with his family and friends.
Frank will be deeply missed by Diane, his loving wife of 58 years, his daughter Heather (Les), his family, and friends. The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Ajax-Pickering Hospital, with special thanks to Dr. Julia Coppens for her honesty and compassion.
Visitation will be held at noon on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax), followed immediately by a funeral in the Chapel at 1:00 PM. A reception will then follow at the McEachnie Family Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Feed the Need in Durham or a charity of your choice in Frank's memory.
