July 29, 1962 – March 7, 2025
Jai Shree Krishna
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Kusumben Rajendra Mistry.
Alongside her beloved husband, Rajendra, and her children, Manisha and Jeeten, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends across the world.
Kusum was born in Eru, Gujarat, India, in 1962, the fifth of six siblings to Dajibhai Somabhai and Maniben Dajibhai Mistry.
In April 1969, the family moved to East London, England, where she grew up and completed her schooling.
In 1985, Kusum married Rajendra, and they settled in Acton, West London. In 1989, they emigrated to Scarborough, Toronto, with their firstborn, Manisha,
working tirelessly to establish a new life. Their son, Jeeten, was born in 1990.
Kusum dedicated over 20 years to Scotia Bank, ultimately serving as a Business Systems Analyst.
She had many passions, including gardening, cooking, and nature, and she especially loved dancing and doting on the family dog, Finn.
Kusum’s kind heart, boundless energy, selflessness, and strong determination continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
