Eduardo Monteiro
December 20, 1928 – November 24, 2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Eduardo Monteiro on November 24, 2024, at the age of 95. Eduardo passed away surrounded by love at William Osler Health System – Etobicoke General Hospital.
Eduardo is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Maria Natalia Monteiro (2022). He will be dearly missed by his children, Henry Monteiro and Ana Dorevich (Chris Dorevich). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Sandra Wheeler (Mark Wheeler), Joshua Collia, Sarah Lahonen (Randy Lahonen), and Alexandra Collia, and a cherished great-grandfather to Daniel, Scarlett, and Parker.
Eduardo’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to his family will leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered by many other family members and friends.

- Visitation: Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, ON, L3T 3Z6
- Funeral Mass: Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of St. Joseph – Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home
- Interment: Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON, L3T 2C7
