Mary Patricia Nagy (nee Brady)
September 14, 1928 - October 20, 2024

NAGY, Mary Patricia (nee Brady) – Passed away peacefully at the Woolcott Wing of the Welland Hospital on Sunday, October 20, 2024, in her 97th year.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Lewis Nagy (2017) and a devoted mother to Alexander “Lewy” Nagy (Sandi) and Patricia Krieger (William). She was a cherished grandmother to Paula Nagy-Duncan (Rob), Carol Nagy (Vince), Brenda Nagy, Kelly Nagy (Rob), Jason Nagy (Hillary), Matthew Krieger (Stacey), Mary-Anne Krieger, Melissa Steward (Craig), and Noah Krieger (Ashley). Mary was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who brought her much joy.

Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Illa Brady, as well as her brothers George and Alex and sisters Julia and Linda, Mary was a long-time member of the Port Robinson Anglican Church and Rice Road Community Church. Her warmth and love will be remembered by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a service to honor Mary’s life in the Cudney Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Doan’s Ridge Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Charles Residents Fund.
