Jean Neal

1935 – December 18, 2024

Quietly, with her daughters by her side, Jean Neal (nee Brandwood) of London passed away at Dearness Home on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late John William Neal. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Jennifer and Julie and her cherished grandchildren Shea, Noah, Kira, and Luke. Jean was predeceased by her brother Brian.

Jean was a compassionate and caring woman, known for her peaceful and gentle soul—except at her fabulous parties on Kathryn Drive. She was adored by her family, her many friends, and through her work at U.W.O. Jean is now reunited with her one true love, John, and she will be greatly missed, especially at Christmas time.

The family extends special thanks to the caregivers at Dearness Home for their compassionate care.

Visitation: Sunday, January 12th, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond.

Service: Sunday, January 12th, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home. Afterwards, please join the family at Spencer Hall, 551 Windermere Road, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to celebrate Jean’s life.
