Faye Nevills

17-Feb-1945 - 17-Apr-2025

In Loving Memory Of

Faye Nevills (née Bryan)
1945 – 2025
It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Faye Nevills, who left us on April 17, 2025, at the age of 80.

Faye was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth and joy touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born in 1945, Faye lived a life full of laughter, kindness, and grace. She was the devoted wife of 60 years to her husband, Charles, and
a proud mother to two sons—Michael, who preceded her in passing, and Stephen and his partner Lloyd, who continue to carry her spirit forward.
She was a loving grandmother to Matthew and a tireless supporter of her family and community. Her love was constant, her joy contagious, and her absence will be deeply felt.

She spent the majority of her career with Whitby Hydro, where she was not only a dedicated and hardworking employee but also a cherished colleague and friend.
Her work ethic and commitment were matched only by her ability to brighten the workplace with her easy smile and caring nature.
She also gave of her time for several years as a volunteer at the hospital giftshop in Whitby.

Faye found great joy in the simple things: time spent with family, the beauty of flowers in bloom, music, and sharing conversations with friends.
She approached life with unwavering optimism and a generous heart. Her laughter was a constant presence in the lives of those around her,
and her ability to find happiness in every day was one of her most beautiful gifts.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we take comfort in knowing that her life was one lived with purpose, joy, and deep love.
Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched, the values she instilled, and the many beautiful memories we hold close.

She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

Fly Again
Her trembling hands
held the church pew that day,
struggling to stand
when they asked her to pray.
With wisdom and strength
her words were spoken.
But her body grew weary
for her wings were broken.

But she will fly once again.
She will soar with her wings unfolded.
Hear the angels applaud
as she rides on the wind
to the arms of God.
And she will fly,

She will fly again.

And on that day
when she left for the sky
I saw her smile
as she told me goodbye.
No more would she weep
for missed tomorrows.
No more would she suffer
in this land of sorrows.

But she will fly once again.
She will soar with her wings unfolded.
Hear the angels applaud
as she rides on the wind
to the arms of God.
And she will fly.
She will fly...
