O'NEILL, Steve - January 21, 1934 - September 27, 2015
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a great man, dear husband, father and grandpa, Steve O'Neill on September 27, 2015.
Steve, in his 82nd year, was the beloved husband of Rosalene (Rose).
Loving father of Lisa (Marco), Shelly (Stu) and Dave (Mandy).
Steve is sadly missed by his 5 grandchildren Hailey, Jenna, Olivia, Gavin and Graham. Steve is survived by his brothers Don (Nel), Patrick (Fran) and Albert (Maureen) and by his sisters Margaret and Rose Marie and sister-in-law Evelyn. Previously deceased by his parents Stanley and Mary (Piggott), brothers Joe, Vince and Willy (Bernice) and his sisters Evelyn and Theresa (Bill).
Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Steve worked as an electrician for 55 years, all over Canada and the USA, and retired to a life of farming.
Steve enjoyed a good game of golf, the curling rink and most of all, visiting with family, friends and neighbours.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Wednesday, September 30 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Luke's Church, Downeyville on Thursday, October 1 at 11:00 A.M.
Interment to follow at St. Luke's Cemetery, Downeyville.
Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 P.M.
All members of the Knights of Columbus, Council #8911, Downeyville are asked to attend.
If desired, memorial donations to the St. Luke's Church Renovation Fund would be appreciated by the family.
