Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 91st year. Born in Peterborough, Ontario, to the late Percy and Margaret Luther (née Riddell), Jennie is now reunited with her beloved husband John “Jack” Frederick Chapman and cherished daughter Lynn Chapman.

Loving mother of Tammy Chapman-Curtis (Ron), Stephen Chapman (Laura), and Kimberley Martin (Dean). Devoted and proud grandmother of Aaron, Taylor Lynn, Sheyenne, Krysten, Chloe, and Owen.

Dear sister of Percy (Marilyn) and sister-in-law Susan Daly. Predeceased by siblings Barbara Clark (Bob) and Donald Luther (survived by Barbara). Jennie will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all staff and nurses at Princess Gardens, the B6 unit at PRHC, and to Drs. Richard Binette, Andrew Binette, and Lauren Morelli for their compassionate care and support.

In keeping with Jennie’s wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at Little Lake Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Jennie may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Society, the Alzheimer’s Society, or a charity of your choice.
