Peacefully on July 1, 2025, Jody Louise Field (née Schuler), lovingly known as Bashkizung Anangookwe – Shooting Star Woman, began her journey home. In her final days, visits from family and friends brought her comfort and peace.

Jody was the beloved daughter of Peter Schuler (Lois) and the late Iris Schuler (Nanticoke). She was a devoted mother to Nyah and Keira, and a cherished sister to Dawn (Rhett) and Andrew. She was predeceased by her sister Sherry and her mother Iris.

Resting at Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th Line Road, Ohsweken, on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Caledonia Cemetery.
