It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and nonno, Giuseppe “Joe” Fregapane, on April 20, 2025, at the age of 82.
Giuseppe is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Vita Fregapane (Messina), and cherished daughters Maria Carmela (Melina) and her husband Salvatore Albano, and Francesca and her husband Jake Millner.
He was the proud Nonno to Anthony, Maya, Joseph, Salvo, Aram, Alex, Elizabeth, and Carter.
Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Maria Carmela Fregapane and his siblings Pietro, Salvatore, Antonio, and Angela Piazza.
Born in Cattolica, Sicily, Joe lived a life guided by deep faith, love for his family, and warm friendships. He treasured moments spent surrounded by his family, watching Juventus soccer matches, and enjoying his routine visits to GoodLife Fitness and Tim Hortons.
A devout member of Parkwood Gospel Church, he volunteered for Alpha classes every Tuesday and loved long drives, fishing with his grandchildren, and sunsets by the lake.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, radiant smile, and the joy he brought into the lives of others.
Visitation will be held at Families First – South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave., Windsor, on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., with vigil prayers at 6 p.m.
Family and friends are invited directly to Parkwood Gospel Church, 3005 Temple Dr., Windsor, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
