GUIDRY, Patricia “Patty” Guidry

Passed away at Uxbridge Hospital on Tuesday May 26, 2026 at the age of 72 years.  Loved and missed by her loving husband; Ben Kubica.  Mom will always be loved and remembered by her children Evan Cain (Esther), Blair Cain (Brooke), Alyson Ballinger (Brad) and Erica Day (Josh) and her step-daughters Jackie Kubica-Lacroix (Paul) and Rebecca Graves (Geoff).  Grandma will be missed by Sara, Brayden, Abi, Griffin, Jordan, Rose, Theo, Brooke, Kate, Oliver, Henry and Violet.  Also survived by her siblings Catharine Lewis (Bill), David Guidry (Christine), sister-in-law Julie Kubica and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her brother-in-law Edward Kubica.

Patty worked alongside her husband Ben for over 30 years at J.F. Comer until their retirement 7 years ago.  Patty and Ben lived a life full of adventures.  Their favourite travels were planned around rollerblading, golfing and skiing.  Since their retirement, Patty and Ben spent their time between three places; their home in Uxbridge, the cottage in Muskoka and their home in Hudson, Florida.  She was happiest when sitting outside in the sun with a crossword in hand.

There was nothing more important to Patty than family; she was the glue that kept everyone together.  Patty’s most profound and enduring legacy is the unbreakable bond she fostered among her children.  The love, support and closeness they share is a living testament to her heart.

A Celebration of Patty’s life will be held at Wooden Sticks Golf Club Pavilion, 40 Elgin Park Dr., Uxbridge on Friday June 5, 2026 from 4 pm to 7 pm.
