It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald C. Irving in his 84th year, at Granite Ridge Care Community in Stittsville, Ontario, on March 24, 2025. He was the loving husband to Valerie and a devoted father to Michelle (Philip Devonald) and Chris (Michelle Melvin). He was a beloved grandfather to Bailey and Emma. He was also a friend and brother-in-law to Leslie Jones.

Ron was predeceased by his loving parents, May and George, and his brother, Stephen.

Born in Manchester, England, Ron met Valerie, and they married in 1967. He had a successful career managing numerous retail stores (both in England and Canada), where he was loved and respected by all. Ron was known for his optimism, positivity, fun nature, and immense love for his family. He made everyone laugh and smile and was someone his family could always depend on. He will be missed and cherished in their hearts forever.

The family wishes to thank all his caregivers and the staff at Granite Ridge Care Community (both in Garden and Orchard Houses) for their love and support during his time there.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
