Passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Wednesday April 30, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 90. Beloved partner of Robert Fowler, and predeceased by her husband James Loader (2016). Cherished mother of Kevin, Russell (Katherine), Patricia (Francois) and Terence. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Nicole and Alexandre (Daniela). Oriole will be lovingly remembered by her many dear friends and family.

Oriole was a woman of many talents – she loved crafts such as knitting, sewing and crocheting. She was a big fan of all things British, with Coronation Street being amongst her favourites. Family time meant the world to her, especially Christmas family celebrations. Even though illness took its toll, Oriole stayed strong for her loved ones.

Please join with the family for a Memorial Service on Saturday May 10th at 1pm in the Chapel at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Visitation will be held 12pm to 1pm, prior to the service.
