Passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at Scarborough General Hospital on Friday February 9th, 2024 at 86 years of age.
Beloved wife of Leopold for 64 years.
Devoted mother of Peter and his wife Lisa, Mary and her husband Stephen, Noel and his wife Dana and Gregory and his wife Rachel.
Loving Mama Merle of Ryan, Kate, Emily Tyler, Raquel, Regan, Matteo, Pablo, Roman, Christopher and Mario.
Merle will be sadly missed by Joel, her extended family and many friends. After immigrating twice to Canada, they finally settled in 1983. Her family meant everything to her.
She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West on Wednesday February 14th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Family Parish, 91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby on Thursday February 15th at 10:30am. Interment at Erskine Cemetery.
