PECA, Nicola Peca

Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Tuesday March 17, 2026 at the age of 88 years. Nick was predeceased by his wife Margaret in 2017. Nick was predeceased by his parents Tomasso and Filomena.

He is survived by his 14 children, Nick Jr (Bev), Sidney, Charlotte, Filomena, Donna (Andy),Victoria (Dan), Henry (Libs), Margaret, Jeanette (John), Nicolette, Lina, Ernie (Angela), Linda (Jimmy) and Elvis (Emily). Nick was predeceased by his sister Lina (late Ernesto), and survived by his brothers and sisters Victor(Tina), Donna(late Sam) Silvana( late Domenic) and Claudio (Lynne)as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins from Canada, USA and Italy.

Nick and Margaret raised their family primarily in Brentwood and though we are all saddened by his passing, we rejoice knowing that Nick and Margaret are together once again.

Friends are invited to join the family at the Carruthers & Davidson – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Thursday, March 19, 2026 for visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Parish, 215 Pine Street, Stayner on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
