PRESTON, Jeanne Preston

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanne Preston. She passed away peacefully at the Uxbridge Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family and close friends.

Jeanne was the cherished and beloved wife of Norman, with whom she shared 53 beautiful years of marriage, filled with deep devotion, laughter, and countless shared adventures. She was a loving and proud mother to her daughter, Sarah, who brought immense joy to her life.

She lived a life characterized by kindness, generosity, and steadfast love for her family and friends. While living in Toronto, Jeanne was a dedicated and passionate Girl Guide leader, investing her time and heart into mentoring young girls and building lasting community bonds. Her creativity shone brightly through her love of quilting; she was an avid quilter whose beautiful and intricate creations will be treasured by her loved ones forever. Jeanne’s legacy of love and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In keeping with Jeanne’s wishes, there will not be a viewing or memorial service. Friends are invited to share memories and express condolences on her Tribute Wall under “Share a memory”.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations can be made to North House, where Jeanne volunteered on the board.
