SANKEY, Alexander Sankey

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Alex Sankey passed away peacefully, with his family by his side in his 91st year on Wednesday February 11, 2026. Beloved husband of Barbara, who he shared over 67 years of marriage. Dearly loved father of Patty (Vic), Jim (LeeAnne), Mark (Michelle) and much loved grandfather of Geoff (Melissa), Meghan, Matthew (Heather), Josh (Amy), Michael (Alysha), Nicole, Geordyn, Carter, Tanner and Ryder, and his great grandchildren Bretlyn, Marley, Paitynn, Kaitlyn, Griffin and Axton. Alex will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026 from 1 – 2 pm at Faith United Church, 1778 Nash Rd., Courtice and Celebration of Life will follow at 2pm at the church. If desired, memorial donations to Faith United Church would be appreciated.
