SHAFFER, Jack Karl Shaffer
November 1, 1954 - May 31, 2026He and Joan Zwicker blessed the world with Jack Shaffer on November 1, 1954 and he spread those blessings to the world with his presence, going out of his way to help anyone he could along the way day or night. If you called he would be in the car on his way, before getting off the phone with you. Jack Karl Shaffer’s a very outspoken Father with the capability of listening and convincing whomever is in distress that worrying would not help and help you see the reasoning behind the situation, opening a new mindset. His life was spent educating, giving and helping others even if it meant his own happiness. He lived a full life with not many regret… He always talked about how he could have done things differently with my brother and my mother as well. It circled his head 24/7. Even 20 years later. That’s how I know he loved them both dearly and prayed things were different. He has also had a piece of his heart missing since his mother (the late Joan Kosnaskie) and his step father (Tony Kosnaskie) passed on. He was so proud of the fact that he Is a grandfather to Kristin, Michaella, Keegan, Hannah, Myles, Jayna, and Kody and a great grandfather to Paislee, Stiles, Matteo, Addison, Lilah, and Nora. He bragged about it to everyone he met smiling so bright. His son Josh and daughter Jackie were the start of his life long adventure and he also bragged about them every day.
On May 31 2026 Jack Shaffer gained his wings and heaven gained an angel. He died peacefully in his sleep in his home in Killaloe Ontario.
