Jeanine O’Hare

July 14, 1942 – March 29, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanine O’Hare (neé Régimbal) on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Born on July 14, 1942, in Iroquois Falls, Ontario, Jeanine was the beloved daughter of Juliette and Hervé Régimbal.

Predeceased by her husband, Daniel O’Hare, Jeanine was a devoted mother to Shawn O’Hare (Debbie) and Kelly Vanclief (Chris), cherished grandmother to Conor, Nikolas, Daniel, Gabriella, and Emma, and loving sister to Raymond (predeceased), Guy, Carol (predeceased), Gisele, and Anne.

Jeanine’s greatest source of joy and comfort in life was her family. Mother, grandmother, aunt, cheerleader, guardian, and friend, she nurtured each connection for the treasures they were. The loss of Jeanine is felt deeply by her family and friends. Though, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved her.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the palliative care nurses and the compassionate team at Oak Ridges Hospice of Durham for their exceptional care and support.

A funeral mass will be held at St. John’s church in Whitby, Ontario on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 at 11:00 am, reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Ridges Hospice of Durham in her memory
