LIMA, Eugenia Do Carmo (nee ARRUDA) - It is with deep sadness that we announce Eugenia's sudden passing at home on September 27, 2022 at the age of 57 years.
Born August 9, 1965, in the town of Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Portugal.
Beloved wife of 36 years to Jose.
Proud and devoted mother of Daniel (Kathleen), Liana and Michael (Kelly).
Cherished daughter of Jaime (deceased) and Fernanda Arruda. Loving sister of Ana, Laudalina (Carlos), Fernanda, Jimmy (Kimberly), Janice (Guilherme) and Joseph (Catarina).
Jay will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
Her kindness and wit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her, as will her fierce love for those she cared for.
Family and friends may visit at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Mary Mother of God Parish, 2745 North Ridge Trail, Oakville at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oakville and Halton Humane Society would be appreciated.
