BACK, Joyce M. - Joyce Margaret Back, of Georgetown, and formerly of Toronto, passed away suddenly, at Georgetown Hospital, on Sunday, January 29, 2023, in her 89th year.
Joyce will be remembered with love by dear friends, Margaret and Alan, Pixie, and Edna; goddaughter, Sarah, husband, Martin and their children, Gordon and Emma.
Joyce will also be deeply missed by her many friends in Toronto, England and those at Mountainview Residence and Terrace, where she resided for the past two years.
Special thanks go to Dr. Alam, Dr. Bhella and to the wonderful staff at Georgetown Hospital and Mountainview Residence and Terrace for their compassion and loving care of our dear Joyce.
Friends will be received at the Turner & Porter "Yorke Chapel" Funeral Home (2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto), on Monday, February 6th, at 3:00 p.m. for a Service in the chapel.
An interment service will take place in the spring at Georgetown's Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
