DALEY, Velma - Velma Eleanor Daley passed away unexpectedly, at her home in the early morning hours of Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14, 2023, in her 96th year.
Beloved wife of the late Dr. Daniel Daley, Velma was a dedicated and exceptional mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She will be so dearly missed by her children, Jim (Gail), Eleanor, Ed (Sue) and Jay (Cindy); grandchildren, Katie (Paul), Ellen (John), Chris (Stacey), Ryan (Kim), Justin (Lora), Bradley (Matthew), Daniel (Nicole), Caitlin (Matt), Kylee (Ryan) and Alex (Veronica); and by her twelve great-grandchildren, her extended family and her vast array of friends.
Visitation will take place at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James St., Parry Sound, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A celebration of Velma's life will take place at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 58 Seguin St., Parry Sound, on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with reception to follow.
