AGOSTINO, James "Gus" Chefero -
February 15, 1938 - May 20, 2023
Agostino "Gus" Chefero passed peacefully, after a brief illness, on May 20, 2023, at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marlene; his children, Ernie (Lesley), Lesley (Steven Harany), Debbie and Jim; and by his grandchildren, Samantha (Ryan Frangakis), Madison (Luke Byrne) Chloe, Justin and Dakota.
Gus was one of a kind. He was a caring man with a generous spirit and a cheeky sense of humour, who always enjoyed his time with family and friends; a gentle and big-hearted man who will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
A private service will be held by the family the following day.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Southlake Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.
