Wallington PatrickWALLINGTON, Patrick John  -  It is with profound sadness that the family of Patrick Wallington announce his peaceful passing on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the age of 73 years.

Patrick passed away at his home on Wolfe Island, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Beloved husband of Beatrice; and father of Rhea (Peter Church).

Patrick is the son of the late Jack and Grace Wallington; and was predeceased by his brother, Richard (Jacqueline).

Patrick was known for his dry sense of humor and ability to get along with everyone he met.

He loved spending his free time at the Wolfe Island house, sitting on the deck enjoying the peacefulness with his family (and usually a cold beer). He will be greatly missed by Beatrice's brothers and sisters, their spouses, and his many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Central Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy), on Thursday, April 18th and Friday, April 19th, between the hours of 5:30-8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Sacred Heart of Mary Church Wolfe Island, on Saturday, April 20th, at 1:30 p.m. Rite of Committal with prayers to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A Reception will follow the Burial.

Memorial donations, for those wishing, may be made to Saint Elizabeth Health Care.
