Doris Eugenie Parent (née Bisnaire)

August 20, 1925 - December 3, 2024

Doris Parent (née Bisnaire) passed away peacefully on her own terms with family present at Elmwood Place Long Term Care Home in London, Ontario. Doris was predeceased by her husband Omer Parent (2013), six sisters (Bea, Aurelia, Corinne, Jeanne, Bernice, Joanne), and six brothers (Philias, Paul, Raymond, Robert, Gerald, Gerard). She is lovingly remembered by her brothers Rene (Raymonde) and Joseph (Joanne).

Cherished mother of Guy (Tracey), Jerome (Peggy 2022), Philippe, and Jacques (Maria). Loving grandmother to Chantal, Rejean, Adrienne, Justin, Jean-Marc, Beatrice, and great-grandchildren Eli and Lucas. Doris will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Doris had a genuine love for nature and was deeply devoted to her faith, often praying the Holy Rosary. Her unwavering dedication to the Holy Trinity and the Virgin Mary was central to her life. A tree planted in her name would be a kind gesture, but a prayer for the repose of her soul is all she would ever ask for.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor) on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Paul Parish (5885 Malden Rd.) on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
