PAUL, Mary Louise (nee GIAMOU) -
October 26, 1946 – June 13, 2024
Mary was born in Zhelevo in Aegean Macedonia to the late Elias and Flora Giamou and immigrated to Canada at the age of six.
She was predeceased by brother, Paul (Kay); and survived by siblings, Frances (Sam), Patsy (Louis), and Bill (Maria).
She was the beloved wife of Gerry for 57 years; dear mother to Melanie (David), Chris, and Jordan (Holly); and adored Baba of Evan, Nicholas, Mara, Grace and Marian.
Mary's example of love, generosity, and humour lives on in all whose lives she touched. She was a loving spouse, devoted daughter, caring sister, and ideal mother. Her true beauty was matched only by her strength of spirit.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16th, from 1:30-5:00 p.m., at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge St., Richmond Hill. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, June 17th, at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Cyril and Methody Macedonian-Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Cathedral, 237 Sackville St., Toronto, with a burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto (Section 9). A reception will be held after interment.
