Carmen Marie Lise Dorila Payne

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Carmen Marie Lise Dorila Payne, on October 12, 2024, at the age of 88 at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario. Known for her faith, Carmen passed away surrounded by family and friends who loved her deeply. Born in Verdun, Montreal, Carmen was the daughter of Yvonne Beaulieu and Luciene Bissonnette, and sister to Lucienne and Robert. Her family was her life, and she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Carmen was a dedicated member of St. Paul the Apostle Parish and spent countless hours knitting for the charity Dr. Simone’s Canadian Food for Children. She will be remembered for her zest for life, her remarkable cooking, and her love for Christmas, which she celebrated with great care and joy.
