Doris Elizabeth Penner

Our dear, sweet, and devoted Mom and Nana, Doris Elizabeth Penner (née Barber), passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, with her loving daughters by her side. Doris dedicated her life to her children and cherished her grandchildren dearly. Her unwavering love and devotion will forever be remembered.

She is predeceased by her son Bruce (2020), grandson Isaac (2012), and son-in-law David Roest (2023). Doris is survived by her daughters Brenda (Roest) and Bonita (Riehl), and her beloved grandchildren Jacob, Marijke, and Levi. She will be profoundly missed by her family and her dear friend of 65 years, Ethel Dueck.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at Vineland United Mennonite Home and Pleasant Manor for their compassionate care over the past few years.
