William John Pentecost

1944 - December 23, 2024

William John Pentecost passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, in his 80th year. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years, Barbara, and his daughters Alison (Martin) and Celia (Andrew). Proud grandfather to Malcolm, Jonah, Avery, Anthony, and Violet.

Family and friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street Markham North, Markham, on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. A reception will follow the service.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful nurses at Markham Stouffville Hospital in the ICU for their outstanding care and compassion. For those who wish, memorial contributions can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or COPD Canada.
